Frequently asked questions

A few good questions.

The practical details, before we talk about your program.

Who is BrightStage Marketing for?

Adult performers and educational presenters with bookable programs for children. This includes musicians, storytellers, puppeteers, science presenters and visiting authors offering performances, visits or workshops. We provide marketing support, not childcare services or a booking marketplace.

Can you help with local and touring programs?

Both can be a fit. Buyer research can cover Canada and the United States according to your verified service or travel region, program and audience ages. The emphasis is on organizations you can realistically serve, based on your base location, touring dates and booking availability.

What materials are useful to get started?

A website or program description, audience age range, service area, availability and any approved photos or video are useful. Program length, practical requirements and verified experience can also help make your materials clearer.

Are bookings guaranteed?

No. Marketing can introduce your program to suitable organizations, but interest and bookings depend on factors such as buyer needs, budgets, timing and program fit. You manage your own pricing, availability and bookings.

How does pricing work?

Each contact tier offers a fixed campaign price or an upfront fee plus a 15% booking commission. All amounts are in USD. The Pricing page compares the options and explains the commission basis. Suitable contact volume depends on your program and verified region, and no volume is available in every region; smaller regional and custom scopes are inquiry-based.
